This Legal & Compliance Notice explains the general legal framework considered in operating the Nine A website and rental service. It is informational and does not replace a signed rental agreement or professional legal advice.

Philippine framework

Depending on the transaction, relevant Philippine laws may include Republic Act No. 10173 (Data Privacy Act of 2012), Republic Act No. 7394 (Consumer Act of the Philippines), Republic Act No. 11967 (Internet Transactions Act of 2023), their implementing rules, and other applicable contract, transportation, taxation, insurance and local-government requirements.

Nine A’s online policies are intended to support transparent transactions, privacy protection and responsible rental operations. Actual legal obligations depend on the facts of each transaction and the laws then in force.

International framework

Foreign laws may apply when their jurisdictional requirements are met. For example, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) can impose privacy obligations in circumstances defined by that regulation. Nine A does not represent that every foreign law applies to every website visitor or rental.

Mandatory rights

Nothing on this website is intended to waive a consumer, privacy or other legal right that cannot lawfully be waived.

Priority of documents

For a specific rental, mandatory law comes first. Subject to that, the final confirmed rental agreement, quotation, insurance terms and written amendments govern the transaction. General website descriptions are informational unless incorporated into the confirmed agreement.

Updates

Laws and business operations change. Nine A may revise these policies when necessary. Customers should review the version in effect when they make a booking.
