International Customer Policy

This policy provides additional guidance for customers visiting the Philippines, residents using foreign-issued documents, and customers whose personal information or payment activity may involve another country.
Driver documentation
An international customer must hold a driver’s license and supporting documentation that are legally recognized for the intended rental location and period. An International Driving Permit (IDP) or other document may be required depending on the issuing country, duration of stay, local law, insurer requirements or vehicle class. Customers are responsible for confirming their legal eligibility to drive.
Passports and identification
Nine A may request a passport, government-issued identification, local contact details or other reasonable verification before finalizing a rental. Only information reasonably needed for the transaction should be collected.
Currency and foreign payments
Unless otherwise stated, quotations may be denominated in Philippine pesos. A bank, card network, payment processor or wallet may apply its own exchange rate, international transaction fee or conversion charge.
Cross-border vehicle use
A Nine A vehicle must not be taken outside an approved geographic area or transported outside the Philippines without prior written authorization and satisfaction of all legal, insurance, customs and carrier requirements. Approval should never be assumed.
International privacy
Personal information may be processed in the Philippines and, where service providers operate internationally, in other jurisdictions. Where a foreign privacy law such as the GDPR legally applies to the processing, Nine A will seek to respect the rights and safeguards required for that processing. Foreign laws do not automatically apply merely because a visitor accesses the website from another country.
Travel disruptions
Flight delays, border restrictions, natural events and other travel disruptions can affect pickup or return. Customers should notify Nine A as soon as practical so available alternatives can be considered.
